Who is this chap you see all over LinkedIn, TikTok and the platform formally known as Twitter?
Where to Begin?
Like many of us who find themselves in recruitment, it happened by accident.
I know that this will come as a surprise to many of you seeing as I seem to be everywhere and know everyone but my first love was farming.
To join and eventually help run the 300 acre family farm in South Norfolk was always the dream. However, the 1990’s weren’t exactly conducive to a young chap, fresh out of Agriculture College and so I had to go find my own path elsewhere.
Over the course of the last 20 – something years I have worked for Blue Chip Grain Merchants, Independent Feed companies and Farmer owned Co-ops making relationships and developing an understanding of the various ways they all work and the people they look for.
Why Recruitment?
Well, 6 years ago I went to speak to a recruiter about my career and the next thing I know – I’m working with them and developing my own network.
Finding my own clients and working with candidates to help them in their careers.
And the rest is history.
What Can You Expect?
If you choose to let me assist you in your quest for a new career or in the search for new people, I can promise you one thing.
Communication.
As a candidate I won’t disappear if you send me your CV.
Or if you fail to get a role.
This is a long term partnership that will support you on your journey. However, long it takes.
If you choose to become a client. Once, you’ve paid a retainer I won’t stop returning your calls. Nor will I send you “any old CV” just to try and justify my fees.
What you will get is a thorough and honest search. Where as part of the service I will benchmark your vacancy against similar roles currently being advertised.
As well as feedback about what people are saying with regards to your role and a plan of what is going to happen next.
Honesty.
If clients don’t feel you are the “right fit”, I’ll tell you.
If your role is not paying enough or doesn’t offer the opportunities you think it does. I’ll tell you.
Otherwise, how are we going to find the right solution?
